So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Just about 2 years ago my life was completely different. I dedicated my life to alcohol and cocaine and spent majority of my days in the bars. I decided to go to rehab and when I got out I still couldn’t get it right. Nine months into doing what I spent thirty days away from my family to break, and I was tired. I decided to get sober, this time on my own using some of the tools I picked up in rehab and changing my whole perspective on life. I put this podcast together as another tool to use to keep my sobriety in check.
Lets dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I’d be lying if I said anything about getting sober was easy. I’ve experienced death within the family, heartbreak and failure. I’ve caught myself questioning if everything I was doing was worth everything I was going through. I think the hardest thing is not saying fuck it all when I’m feeling completely defeated.
What should we know about your business? What does your business do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
I think what separate us from the others is our character. At HippyLife we strive to bring the best out in everyone we come in contact with. Whether that’s in person or on air, we give you a place and time to forget and let go of all those curveballs life may throw your way. We are not just a brand but a lifestyle.
Ok Last Question, What is “success” or “successful” for you?
I feel that success is when you actually start to benefit from all the work you put in. Whether that’s financially, physically, emotionally or spiritually, as long as you level up and benefit from you failures you’re in the right place. It’s not about the money or the fame but what impact are you making on those that watch you. When someone tells you that you have changed their life for the better acknowledge that as success.
