Joyner Lucas pays homage to his idol Will Smith for the latest offering off his upcoming, ADHD. The album drops Friday (March 27).
Hitting a film studio full of green screens, the tribute begins with Joyner reenacting the theme music for The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air before firing off his guns as detective Mike Lowry from the Bad Boys franchise. Elsewhere, he suits up as agent Edwards for Men In Black and saddles out in the Wild Wild West as Army Captain James T. West.
Animation comes to life as Joyner lays down the voiceover as Shark Tale’s Oscar, then transitions to homeless salesman Chris Gardner for The Pursuit Of Happiness. He stands as the one of the lone apocalyptic-survivor Dr. Robert Neville in I Am Legend, and portrays Dr. Robert Neville for sports drama film, Concussion. In the final scene, Lucas grants wishes as the Genie in Aladdin before he becomes the man in the mirror with the Oscar and Grammy award-winning man himself.
