In early November, 21 Savage created a buzz with a cryptic ’12-7-18′ tweet.

No details surrounding that date came out until Thursday (Dec. 6), when the Atlanta rapper posted the artwork and name of his new project I Am > I Was. The album, which many thought would arrive on Friday (Dec. 7), drops everywhere on December 21. The announcement comes with a new untitled song from 21 Savage, previewed in the new trailer for Mortal Kombat 11. Premiered at The Game Awards on Thursday, the video game will be available for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One on Apr. 23, 2019.
