Donations to help aid the relief of Hurricane Harvey victims are pouring in, thanks in part to a call to action voiced by Kevin Hart on Monday, August 28. One celeb who promptly accepted the #HurricaneHarveyReliefChallenge was Chris Brown, who quadrupled the suggested $25,000 contribution with a pledge of $100,000.

“Aye, what’s up big bro. Kevin Hart, I accept your challenge. We need to come together,” Brown said in a video posted to his Instagram page. In the caption of the recording, Brown admits that he is skeptical of Red Cross, and therefore will be looking to get the money to the people in a more direct manner. “I accept your challenge, man, and I implore and encourage everybody else who can change and make a change for this, to please donate and help our men.”
Hart initiated the challenge by calling out Dwayne Johnson, Beyonce, Chris Rock, Jay Z, Dave Chappelle, Jerry Seinfeld, Steve Harvey and Justin Timberlake. Thus far donations have come in from DJ Khaled, Waka Flocka & Tami Rivera, Lady Antebellum, T.I. and country singer Chris Young, who also pledged $100,000.
