Beyonce holds herself to a high musical standard, and apparently, that has caused her to completely start over on her new album. According to Diplo, Bey scrapped over 50 completed songs for her new album, and wants to start anew.

The list of writers whose songs were thrown out would read like an absolute dream project for anyone else. Diane Warren, Ne-Yo, Sia, and The Dream all had songs written, and now, nothing.

Beyonce’s current Mrs. Carter World Tour features no new songs, and according to the Hollywood Reporter, Columbia Records wasn’t quite ready for this tour. Hopefully, Bey’s second go at her new album is even better than the first.
